Terms & conditions
Intro
The following conditions, together with the information set out on the selected Program page of the GRITNOVA website, will form the contract between you and Gritnova(collectively, “we,” “us” or “Gritnova”) for your Learning Program with us. Please read the program page on our website very carefully for a detailed breakdown of the Learning Program. In this contract a reference to “you” and “your” include the lead-named person on the confirmation invoice.
We are GRITNOVA LTD of Kemp House, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, UNITED KINGDOM
1. Definitions
In this agreement, the following definitions apply unless the context requires otherwise:
“Learning Program” A six to twelve months program that consists of multiple sessions organized by Gritnova and delivered by industry experts to equip Students with emerging skills.
“Session” An at-least one hour long segment from the Learning Program delivered by the Expert to the Students. The session can be online or physical.
“Project” The end result of what students work on throughout the learning program to be presented at the end of the Learning Program to the Experts.
“Expert” An industry expert and the instructor who is gives a session in the Learning Program
“Students” The attendees who enroll in the Learning Program.
“Cohort” The group of Students registered in the Learning Program at the same time.
2. enrollment in a Learning program
2.1. Anyone can apply to enroll in any of Gritnova’s learning programs. Application fees will forever remain free of charge.
2.2. The admissions team at Gritnova will review all of the applications and select a few to move on to the interview stage.
2.3. An interview is conducted with the candidate to assess if the applicant is a good fit for the learning program.
2.4. After the interview, the admissions team will send acceptance letters to the group of applicants who are them most qualified to join the learning program. This will be followed by an on-boarding process.
2.5. After this point, the student will be officially admitted and is considered part of the student community at Gritnova.
3. Payment
3.1. After the official acceptance letter is sent. The student will receive the dates of submission for the program tuition.
3.2. The student can pay by either credit or debit card through our online payment service on our website.
3.3. Alternatively, payment may be made by electronic transfer for which full information will be provided upon request via email at admissions@gritnova.com
3.4. Each payment is sent out with a date of submission. If we didn’t receive the amount due within the date, we reserve the right to treat the student’s seat in the program as cancelled. The seat will be given to another student on the waiting list. If the delay in submitting the payment is beyond the Student’s control, we will follow up with to sort things out.
3.5. Upon successful payment, Gritnova agrees to deliver the full learning experience to the Student
4. Refunds and withdrawals
4.1 Knowing that we put a lot of preparation and work into the Learning Program for each student prior to the launch of the Learning Program, if you have been accepted and paid for the fees, the refund policy will be as follows:
a. Before the Start of the First Term:
– 1 Instalment plan: If a student decides to withdraw before 14 days from the start of the first term, they will be eligible for a full tuition refund, excluding the non-refundable admissions fee.
– 2 Instalment plan: If a student paid 50% upfront and decides to withdraw before 14 days from the start of the first term, they will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the total tuition amount, excluding the non-refundable admissions fee.
b. During the First Term:
– 1 Instalment plan: If a student withdraws during the first term and notifies the institution within the first three weeks of the term, they will be eligible for a 50% refund of the tuition.
– 2 Instalment Payments: If a student withdraws during the first term and notifies the institution within the first three weeks of the term, no refund of the first instalment of the tuition will be provided.
c. Second Term Refund Policy:
If a student decides to withdraw before 14 days from the start of the second term, they will be eligible for a 50% refund of the tuition for the second term.
4.1.2 Non-Refundable Fees:
The admissions fee of $250 is non-refundable and will not be returned regardless of when the student decides to withdraw.
4.1.3 Refund Process:
To initiate the refund process, the student must formally notify the institution in writing of their intention to withdraw from the educational degree program. Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date of the official notification.
4.1.4 Special Circumstances:
In the event of extenuating circumstances such as medical emergencies or other compelling reasons that prevent the student from continuing their studies, the institution may consider exceptions to the above refund policy on a case-by-case basis.
5. transfers
5.1 If a student needs to be transferred to the following cohort of the same Learning Program or to a different Learning Program, a request should be communicated to the Gritnova team before 1 month from the initial start date of the current registered Learning Program cohort. Otherwise the request will be denied.
5.1 Eligibility for a timely transfer request is often contingent on the availability of seats in the upcoming cohort. If the next cohort is already full or nearing its capacity or maximum number of transfers have been reached, the institution may not be able to accommodate additional transfer students.
5.3 In cases of exceptional circumstances, such as unexpected life events or emergencies, the institution may consider late transfer requests on a case-by-case basis, even if they fall outside the usual timelines.
6. Changes and cancellations by us
6.1 We reserve the right to change the learning program arrangements. This is necessary because many of our programs involve variables which are outside our control. These include the experts’ time, company and office availability, lockdowns…
6.2 If such changes occur during a learning program, we will make alternative arrangements so as to comply as closely as possible to the description of the program in our website.
6.3 If an internal decision is made within our control that forces us to cancel a Learning Program before the date of its start, you may choose to accept either an alternative learning program or a full refund of all the money paid.
7. Health Requirements
7.1 You agree to comply with all COVID-19 measures while on physical experiences throughout the learning program. This includes respecting social distancing, putting face masks, and using hygiene when necessary.
7.2 If at any point throughout the program and specially if there’s a physical immersion you test positive for the corona virus, you shall inform the Gritnova team immediately and shall not be included in any physical interactions with the rest of the cohort.
8. Limitations on our liability
We want you to enjoy a perfect learning program experience with GRITNOVA Ltd. We shall do our best to make your experience special and valuable for you. Nonetheless, we must make clear the limitations in law. We are not liable to you for:
8.1 Any event which happens before you join us at the meeting point of any physical session or after you leave at the end of any physical session;
8.2. Any problem arising from your failure to reach the meeting point of a physical learning experience on time, for whatever reason;
(though we would do our best to help you in any way we reasonably could)
8.3 Any aspect of goods or services you buy or accept other than those arranged by us;
8.4 Medical problems and medical emergencies
8.5 Changes we reasonably make to an itinerary or any other aspect of the management of the program;
8.6 Problems or issues which we could have resolved whilst on a program but which you raise only after your return.
8.7 injury, illness, death, loss of possession, damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever which results from either:
8.7.1 the act or omission of you or anyone in your party;
8.7.2 the act or omission of a third party not connected with the provision of your program.
8.8 Services we have not provided. The services and features included in your program are those specified in our website. If you choose to buy other goods or services during your program, those are not part of the package we provide. Accordingly, we are not liable to you for any happening in connection with that service or those goods.
