Some of the partners involved in the program:

Day 1:

The city of Berlin: Building the needed infrastructure and rules to becoming the best city for mobility

This day will start by exploring how the city is planning and preparing their transportation infrastructure for the future.
The most of the innovative mobility companies are building their products and services in Berlin, the scene will be a blueprint to major cities around the world.
Besides infrastructure, cities need to develop entire new sets of rules to cope with the extreme innovation such as air mobility, driverless vehicles, scooters…

VC investors: Roadmap for the future of mobility

Investors in a way drive the future, they’re great analysts and have a good vision of the scene to determine where to invest.
We will be visiting venture capitals who are investing in the next generation of mobility companies. We’ll discover future trends, technologies and hot fields in the mobility sector to watch out for.

Day 2

Automotive Giants: Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen

This is a very interesting and memorable day as we will be visiting one of the biggest automotive companies in the world.
Besides going inside the factories and watching how thousands of robots are manufacturing cars every minute, we will have see how the company is building new cars that we will get to see soon on the roads.

Transition from gasoline to only electric

All new cars mandated to be electric in Germany by 2030. This new plan of Germany is catching the eyes of millions. We will be see how companies are developing EVs, and the demanded skills and  jobs needed in this space moving forward.

Self driving cars

The next 5 years will witness a revolution in mobility as autonomous vehicles take over day after day.  Millions of jobs will be created to change how we transport forever while reducing time, cost and saving millions of lives.

Day 3

Urban Air vehicles: Lilium, Airbus, Volocopter

Urban Air Mobility is a new industry which is currently emerging.  It will be a key milestone for the transformation of the aviation industry towards green mobility. As urban planners, public transit agencies, and walking and biking advocates work to steer cities away from a future congested with cars — and as others discuss the ethics, realities and regulations of autonomous vehicles — a growing number of companies is less concerned with city streets and more interested in flying over them.

Day 4

Micro mobility: E-scooters

E-scooters and dockless bicycles appeared in cities’ bike lanes suddenly and in great numbers, showing a real demand for single-occupant vehicles—and creating challenges for both providers and government agencies. The micromobility market is expected to grow to $300 billion by 2030 in the USA alone.
E-scooters are just one of a growing range of shared micromobility options in cities across Europe, the US and Asia. Within a year of operation, electric scooters have become a mainstream part of daily travel for citizens in metropolitan areas all over the world, available in 626 cities in 53 countries

Do you really need to own a car?: ride hailing

Ride-hail was and continues to be a gamechanger. It provides travelers with convenient door-to-door transport, leveraging online-enabled platforms to connect drivers with passengers, and letting drivers use their own personal vehicles.

Day 5

MotionLab Berlin: Can You Solve The Challenge?

Our main sessions for this day will take place at MotionLab Berlin. The space where many ideas, startups, partnerships and success stories are born. Besides going through a workshop and briefing on what it takes to create a mobility startup, you will go through a hackathon in teams to solve a current mobility challenge and pitch it to experts and judges!
