Recruiters hire character.  It’s about how you deal with clients, teammates, managers, contractors and how you train your mind to be consistently creative. When you have all technical skills in your pocket. You need the right mindset & character to take off!

Communications for Architects

The Architect’s Character

Architects work with multiple stakeholders, from clients, colleagues, managers and engineers. Speaking on the phone, writing emails, sharing info with your team, presenting, watching your body language, checking your attitude, noticing the vibes you give off,  – everything that another person can verbally, visually, graphically, or perceptually receive from you matter and make a huge impact on your career. Architects who communicate well and articulate relationships advance faster and bigger. This is a core attribute to possess that the majority ignore.

Effective teamworking

The Architect’s Character

Effective negotiation is one of the most important skills you can learn as an architect. You’ll be negotiating everyday. Negotiating ideas, plans, timelines, salaries, who you want in your team…Knowing how to maneuver these situations to your favor is no easy task. But there are tactics, strategies and habits you will develop through sessions of hands on experiences from one of the best negotiators in the country on how to get the best deal in any given situation. This skill will set you on a successful personal growth. Some tricks will be used in your professional setting and others in your everyday life!

Time Management

The Architect’s Character

Clients expect you to come up with a really elegant design solution but they also expect you to do it in time, deal with all their small requests and adjustments, and stay on the same page with your team. Good architects know exactly how to manage all this. These sessions cover essential time management techniques and client relationships hacks which will help you better structure your day, reduce the level of stress, and focus on the creative part of your work  instead of burning deadlines. A lot of architects lose jobs and clients this way. It’s sensitive, but when you tackle it well, you’ll earn the utmost respect of everyone around you and build a professional reputation for yourself.

Landing Your Dream Architecture Job

Meeting Recruiters

You’ve followed your favorite designers on Instagram, loved all their projects, and have been itching to shoot off your résumé. But where to start?
An impressive CV is one thing, but if you’re looking to land your dream job, you’ll need to prove that you have more to bring to the table. There are creative secrets to landing that perfect job. We spoke with design professionals and hiring managers and created a step by step guide that will allow you to stand out among the thousands of other candidates.

Meeting The Recruiters

Meeting Recruiters

All candidates who make it to the program will have the opportunity to directly meet with the recruiters of several leading architecture and design firms. No more waiting to get a reply on your emails. Recruiters hire character and it’s near impossible to show your character through a piece of paper that takes them 20 seconds to skim through. Instead of going this route, we’re giving all enrolled candidates the advantage to meet the recruiters who will be watching all your work with the teams and experts throughout the program! This tremendously increases your chances to get a job. It puts you at the front of the line. What remains is to prove your character and that you’re ready for the challenge.

Mapping Architecture firms

Meeting Recruiters

Websites & social media accounts don’t show what goes on behind the scenes, which is the most important part when looking to join a team. Throughout the program we will be visiting and knowing how most leading small and big architecture firms who have offices in the UAE work. How their design process is, their work environment, meeting the creative minds and all what goes through the process from ideation to implementation. It’s always inspiring to see how mega projects started at the very beginning, what designs were thrown away, what mistakes have been made and what major success stories have been written.

Designing Your Personalized Path

Meeting Recruiters

Each architect is very different. And so are you. Great architects design a path for their professional career and work to achieve one milestone after the other. Instead of being lost and working on different projects here and there, this session is dedicated to design your personal professional path while defining a clear strategy of goals and milestones to work on. With mentors guiding you throughout the way, you’ll know where you’re heading and how big it’ll be!

To ensure a high quality experience, each cohort is limited to only 20 students.

You bet! Each certificate comes with a unique ID number that you can share with future employers. This ID will be used by the recruiters on our website to show your work done, the experts involved in and companies worked with. Don’t worry, they’ll be impressed.

Not at all, we’ve designed the program to be outside working/learning hours. Most sessions will be in the weekend or after work hours.

We don’t guarantee you getting a job after the program because this highly depends on your character and ability to prove yourself (Which is outside our capacity) But what we do guarantee is you meeting the recruiters of several major companies. They will be watching you in action working with the experts, plus seeing that you have acquired the skills they’re looking for and actually meeting them at the end. This puts you in a very strategic position compared to hundreds of other candidates waiting to get a reply to their emails.

It’s a hybrid model between online and physical learning experience. We have designed the program to be as much hands-on as possible. So you will be engaging physically with the experts while taking all necessary COVID-19 measures.

Dubai. Since this is not a theoretical lectures based approach, we will be visiting a lot of different locations, sites, companies and offices to get the most out of the program.

Every program has a waiting list and so will this. If all seats are already reserved, you will be added to the waiting list. If one of the registered candidates cancels their registration for some reason or emergency, we will give the first one on the waiting list the opportunity to enroll. That’s why we always encourage to reserve your seat as soon as possible.
